    On Saturday, April 20 from 9am – 3pm Holy Cross in Colma is proud to host an Open House. On this day, families and individuals are welcome to come by the cemetery, speak with our Family Service Advisors and staff, as well as tour the cemetery to see what areas have current availability. Staff will be available to answer any and all questions in regards to cemetery preplanning. We look forward to seeing you there!

    The Archdiocese of San Francisco is hosting mandatory in-person training workshop for both schools and parishes.   The Archdiocese invites each school and parish representative to participate in this one-day Workplace Violence Prevention Program (SF-553) and crisis response training to help increase awareness, manage compliance and help improve the overall safety of our workplaces, tech environment, and workspaces.

    Participants of the Respect Life Essay Contest are invited to join us for a special Mass and Awards Ceremony presided by Archbishop Cordileone.


    Principals, Teachers and Parents of children that participated in the essay, please RSVP below to attend this special event to recognize winners and honorable mention recipients of the 35th annual Respect Life Essay Contest. 


    We thank all Catholic schools, individuals and homeschooled families that submitted essays.  We thank as well the group of volunteer judges from San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin County for choosing our winners, and to United for Life for funding our winning prizes.

    Join Archbishop Cordileone and the Perpetual Eucharistic Pilgrims for the launch of the National Eucharistic Revival Pilgrimage from the West with the St. Junipero Serra Route.


    The day begins with Mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco at 11:00 a.m. with a pilgrimage walk following through San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.

  • June 17 - July 19 -Stella Maris Academy Summer Camp

    Join our Hellenistic Classical Catholic Summer Camp!


    Is it all Greek to you? Yes, it is! And Roman too!


    Students in grades 1st to 8th grade are invited to join Stella Maris' summer camp where they will learn Greek vase painting, create a mosaic tiled plaque, learn the alphabet, colors, numbers and more in ancient Greek! They will also learn to cook some Roman delicacies from antiquity!


    In addition there will be science classes, games in the arena, music in the amphitheater, courses in history, myth and storytelling, and more.


    Every Friday the camp will journey on an exciting fact- filled field trip to sights here in our city that reflect Greek and Roman roots.
